Description:

Optum is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join their People Analytics team in Gurugram. This role focuses on delivering actionable people data insights and reporting to inform strategic workforce decisions across multiple business units. The analyst will closely engage with consultants, people business partners, and other stakeholders to build and maintain Power BI dashboards, monitor data quality, and deliver both regular and ad hoc reporting relevant to HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, and hiring.

Responsibilities include stakeholder management, dashboard management, troubleshooting data inconsistencies, supporting governance for sensitive employee data, and driving continuous improvements in reporting processes. The role requires strong communication skills to train users and foster data-driven decision-making within the HR function.

Key Technical Skills:

Power BI, SQL, Advanced Excel, Data Visualization, Data Quality Management, HR Metrics, Reporting, Data Governance, Power Automate (preferred)

Requirements:

• Proficient in Power BI and SQL for dashboarding and data querying
• Advanced experience with MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong problem-solving and business acumen to translate data insights into recommendations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of HR processes and metrics preferred
• Experience with automation tools like Power Automate is a plus
